Dozens Dead After Holiday Weekend Storms

Freezing Rain and Snow Target Corridor Iowa City Northward

The National Weather Service warns of a winter storm in the Corridor from early today. A strong Texas system bringing Gulf moisture could produce 3 to 6 inches of snow and sleet northward with up to half an inch of ice along I 80. Gusty winds may bring down branches and power lines, risking outages. Highs near freezing with limited snow Tuesday and Wednesday.
