Safe at Home program opens to survivors in Iowa
Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate announced the Safe at Home program to provide confidential mailing addresses for survivors of domestic violence sexual abuse trafficking and stalking. The Des Moines based service forwards mail to real addresses and supports records and credentials. About 150 applicants expected in six months growing to 500 in two years with partners including the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Coalition Against Sexual Assault.
