Bear Bear the Lion author shares adoption tale and book profits
Klein and Jenny Klein began adoption in 2014 after infertility, adopting Lilian from Washington Iowa that night and later two more children plus a biological son. Proceeds from each book donate to Chelsea’s Dream Foundation and Lilian saves for a car while the family values cultural ties and open discussion of adoption. local artist Amaya Dawson, a Washington High School senior, illustrates Bear Bear the Lion with Lilian’s handwritten font, readings held at libraries and schools.
