Bonn Envoy Set Free After Basque Kidnapping
Eugen Beihl the West German consul in San Sebastian was released by Basque terrorists after two days on Dec 1. Basque spokesman Telesforo de Monzon said Beihl is safe somewhere in Europe and the captors demand nothing in return. The release followed the Burgos trial of 16 Basques, with verdicts pending.
