Second man charged in Herron slaying in Cedar Rapids
Justin Ross, 18, Cedar Rapids, charged with first degree murder in the Nov. 26 slaying of Andre Herron, 30, found at 826 Seventh Street SW. Ross appeared in video court with a $1 million cash bond. Johnson County Public Defender to represent. Donovan Ross, 19, Hawkeye, already charged with first degree murder for aiding or abetting. Alison Cunningham, 17, a material witness, had bond reviewed and released after judge found no evidence she would fail to testify.

Regional roundup: defendants face prison in fraud cases
Elkader resident freed on a 20000 bond after a regional roundup.
