Spotlight on Herbert Hoover from Iowa boyhood to elder statesman
West Branch hosts the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum site tour. The 186-acre complex includes birth cottage blacksmith shop and nine period houses with restoration in progress. The presidential library traces Hoover as Doctor of Sick Mines and food administrator before and after his presidency.
