Blum critical of year end omnibus spending bill
U.S. Rep. Rod Blum called the $1.15 trillion year end omnibus a backroom deal with little time for review. He noted provisions he supported like meat labeling repeal and renewables credits but cited 10,000 Syrian refugees, Waters of the United States rules, and visa increases as negatives. Only Rep. Dave Loebsack supported the measure from Iowa.
