Attic Girl Returns Home After Prolonged Attic Stay
Eighteen year old Joyce Conduff returns home with her family in Greeneville Tennessee after living in the attic of a four room house for about two years. Sheriff Dahl Pruitt says the move was voluntary and notes a troubled relationship with Joyce’s stepmother. A doctor found her in good health and authorities planned no charges. The father Ernest Conduff, 47, had attempted to keep Joyce from the attic and to send her to school or work.
