Scout Leaders to Receive Certificates at Cedar Rapids Dinner
Fifty Boy Scout and Cub leaders were to receive certificates for completing the eleven session University of Scouting course, sponsored by the Cedar Rapids area Scout council at Coe college. The event included awards by Chester Johnson Harold M Wies J W Brown and others with talks on Scouting Applied to Life and related courses. Courses enrolled 110 men and the session program occurred at First Lutheran church at 6 30 p m with a dinner. Also noted 40 000 Chinese silver dollars are minted daily in Shanghai.
