Who Owns This Elevator on Milwaukee Right of Way
A petition filed at Anamosa asks a court to decide title to an elevator on Milwaukee right of way at Morley. Harry Miller of Olin has owned the building since 1916 under a lease the railroad canceled last August for alleged adverse activities. The lease termination was approved by railway commissioners, and the lease terms say the elevator becomes railway property if not removed within sixty days after cancellation notice. Miller is a farmer and livestock feeder who also operates the elevator.
