Prospect Meadows wins $1 million grant for project near Marion
The Enhance Iowa board awarded Prospect Meadows a $1 million Community Attraction and Tourism grant as part of over $2 million in grants approved in Des Moines. The 16-field complex on County Home Road north of Marion would cost over $13 million and include ADA fields a walking trail a lake and a storm shelter. Coralville man accused of drunken driving crash in Iowa City
Arsene L. Silas, 27, fled a crash in the 1400 block of Dolen Place at 9:16 p.m. Tuesday. Police found him at a gas station and he admitted to crashing. Breath test showed a BAC of 0.167 percent. He faces drunken driving and public intoxication charges.
