Cedar Rapids students compete with Lego robots and real-world problem projects
Cedar Rapids middle schoolers from Prairie Creek Intermediate will compete Saturday in a First Lego League Challenge with Built By Bricks. They model Ocean dead zones in the Gulf of Mexico and test root-rich plants as runoff solutions while coding Lego robots for missions. Twenty-four teams enter, aiming to advance to statewide competition.
