The Rev. Michael M. Koberg aged 30 of Nortonville Kansas formerly of Cedar Rapids died Sunday after a long illness. Surviving Eastern Iowa residents include his mother Mrs E W Koberg and a sister Mrs David Crane both of Marion. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St Matthews Lutheran Church Nortonville with burial in Nortonville.
Blanche Witousek of Cedar Rapids route 2 widow of Charles J. Witousek died Saturday after a long illness. Born July 29, 1893 near Swisher, she leaves two sons Elmer of Cedar Rapids and Charles of Swisher, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters Callie Noska and Mrs Joe Louvar of Cedar Rapids, and a brother Fred Pirks of Swisher. Services at Brush chapel at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday by Rev A T Washington. Burial Czech National. Friends may call at the chapel Tuesday.
Elizabeth Blanche Murdoch 84 of 2733 Franklin avenue NE widow of Benjamin E. Murdoch and Cedar Rapids resident for 84 years died Sunday after a sudden illness. Born Sept 17 1887 in Cedar Rapids she is survived by a daughter Dorothy Ruge Peterson who lived with her. Services will be held at Turner Chapel East at 1 30 p m Wednesday conducted by the Rev F William Hilker of Our Savior's Lutheran Church Burial will be at Czech National Friends may call at Turner's East.

The Cedar Rapids Mayor's Youth Council met at city hall and elected officers for the coming year.
