Iowa president Harreld hires own media adviser
University of Iowa President Bruce Harreld has hired a private media consultant, Wixted & Co., paying with his own funds. The firm has coached him on interview technique and messaging, with two sessions held and costs not disclosed. UI spokeswoman Jeneane Beck says external training was chosen for candid feedback and is optional beyond university offerings.
