Cedar Rapids backs Iowa 100 route plan and rail option
The Cedar Rapids City Council backs a northern Iowa 100 corridor with an Edgewood Road interchange and seeks IDOT approval to use Milwaukee Railroad right of way for two lanes If abandonment proceeds two lanes would be built on the abandoned right of way. The plan calls for rapid construction and an interchange at Edgewood Road.
