Southeast Oak Hill Redevelopment Spurs Major Land Shifts
The Tenth Street Associates led a land surge on 400 to 500 blocks SE since 1970, building seven blocks of medical facilities and housing in Cedar Rapids. Mercy Hospital expanded SE side holdings, while Oak Hill near Jane Boyd Community House eyed a big urban renewal, aided by Community Development funds and a 80 million dollar hospital plan.
