Fire damages home and Corvette in Cedar Rapids blaze
Firefighters battled a two day old blaze at the Gary Knott residence 4624 White Pine Drive NE Saturday. Officials cited possible faulty carburetor as the cause after a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette was destroyed and the garage and part of the house were damaged. Knott had purchased both the car and the home within two months.
