Iran's Tehran state radio favored diplomacy noting the U N call left the way open for negotiations while embassy militants rejected the resolution. Ayatollah Khomeini’s regime issued stronger threats as U S naval forces in the Gulf doubled in size and new diplomatic steps were announced.
