Four Die as Metro-North Derailment Hits Bronx
A Metro-North passenger train derailed near Spuyten Duyvil in the Bronx early Sunday killing four and injuring 70, including 11 in critical condition. The southbound train, about half full, did not stop at the station and circled a sharp curve by the Hudson and Harlem rivers. Authorities review speed, track and braking data as NTSB investigates. Metro-North service disruptions followed across the Hudson Valley.
