Trout fingerlings stocked in Dutch Creek at Anamosa park
Workers from Manchester State Fish Hatchery placed 300 rainbow trout fingerlings about 5 inches long in Dutch Creek at Wapsipinicon State Park Anamosa. The project, led by Eagle Scout Kevin Conley, included riprapping and bank structures to improve fishing habitat and slow water, with expectations the trout reach about 9 inches next year.
