GOP candidate for Iowa House seat blocked from ballot
Linn County Republicans held a Aug. 13 nominating convention to field Conklin or Jones for Iowa House District 73. The secretary of state's office rejected the party's paperwork for Jones missing the chair's signature, blocking Conklin from appearing on the Nov. 5 ballot and leaving no GOP candidate in the district.
