Bremer fights Summit easements for pipeline expansion
Bremer County seeks to block Summit Carbon Solutions from using Navigator CO2 easements for its proposed 2,500 mile North Dakota bound pipeline. The county argues the agreements were obtained prematurely without required public meetings, as Summit aims to extend through Bremer, Butler, Fayette and Floyd counties. The Iowa Utilities Commission is asked to deem the Navigator easements non compliant and require new negotiations.
