Linn County aims to complete 172 miles of trunk hard surfaced roads within ten years as part of a three system plan. The trunk network links population centers and handles heavy traffic while using state and federal funds for culverts and bridges. Current progress includes 33 miles already hard surfaced with 2914 miles ready for surfacing and additional grading contracts anticipated.
