Paulson Electric Co celebrating its 50th anniversary moves to 722 Fifth Ave SE in the former Coca Cola building boosting space to 4,800 square feet with a 16,000 square foot adjacent lease while planning a grand opening today through Friday. The firm has grown since 1931 to more than 200 electricians serving Eastern Iowa and neighboring states.

Crandic Extends Tracks Through Iowa City Hills Line
Crandic Railroad officials announced the purchase of 7.5 miles of former Rock Island trackage between Iowa City and Hills. Price not disclosed. VP and superintendent O R Woods said shipper service on the Iowa City Hills line will resume after weeks of repair and upgrading. Bonds Slip On CPI Rise And Treasury Yields Rise
