Three Oelwein children released after Hazleton crash
Three young Oelwein children injured in a one car crash south of Hazleton have been released from hospital and are recovering. Anastashia Sawyer 2 was discharged from St Luke's Cedar Rapids. Dakota Main 3 from Mercy Oelwein. Jeremiah Main 2 from St Marys Rochester Minn. All have cuts and scrapes but no broken bones.

Former Iowa GOP lawmaker Edgar Holden dies at 87
Edgar Holden, a former Republican state legislator who fought against legalized gambling, died of prostate cancer at 87 in a Davenport nursing home. He served in the Iowa House from 1967 to 1974 and the Senate from 1977 to 1988, including time as House majority leader. Funeral services are set at the Presbyterian Church in Argo with burial at Le Claire Cemetery.
