C R Decides To Pay Disputed Utility Charges
C R agreed Tuesday to pay about $12 000 in outstanding utility bills for its new solid waste facility and to withhold that amount from final payment to Kin derknecht Construction Co. The $2.6 million plant near completion since 1969 has been in a shakedown period. George Milligan said Kin derknecht must cover utilities until city acceptance but has not since April, with disputes over who benefits during testing.

He was fined 300 dollars and given a suspended sentence of one year in the county jail, with two years probation.
