Obituary Merlin Chick Owen of Adrian Minn
Merlin Chick Owen, 67, of Adrian, Minnesota, long time Cedar Rapids city employee, died Sunday. He retired in 1969 after 40 years with the Cedar Rapids water pollution control department where he was superintendent of the plant. He helped design Cedar Rapids sewer and park projects and served on the Cedar Rapids Credit Union advisory board and the Elks club. He is survived only by two brothers, Ralph Owen and Clifford Melberg. Services will be held at the United Methodist church in Adrian at a time to be announced.
