Center remodeling nears completion in Marion district
Marion Independent school board is scheduled for a 7 p.m. update on the remodeling of the district's new home school assistance center in the administrative boardroom. The project began in March 2003 after purchasing an old church beside Starry Elementary School and will cost about 500000. parking lot repaving could add 40000 to 60000. The board will review a new master contract with Marion Home School Assistance Program staff, receive Superintendent Nick Hobbs's opening day enrollment report, and consider a petty cash reimbursement resolution for up to 20 per approved school purchase.
