J C Penney Co announced plans for a two story 155000 square foot department store at Cedar Rapids Westdale Mall to open in spring 1979. The full line outlet will be third large tenant in the $9500000 Westdale complex, joining Ward and Brandes. Current Penney locations remain under consideration.
