Settlement reached in MFA fire insurance suit
An undisclosed out of court settlement was reached today in the 1.5 million suit by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kulish against MFA Insurance over a fire at 4403 Loraine St NE. The couple sought 34 850 for damages plus 1.5 million over a claimed implied accusation. Their son Mark, then 6, testified he started the March 22 1977 fire while playing with a lighter.
