South Park City Museum Lets Fairplay Preserve Old West Past
In Fairplay Colorado the South Park City museum restores a mining town feel with authentic streets, early 1900s kitchens and a tavern scene. Private backers maintain the 1860s to turn‑of‑century era artifacts, houses and equipment to evoke life when mines powered 24 hour operations.
