Iowa City Lawyer Says Evidence Could Have Altered Hall Trial
Bruce Walker claims a Bureau of Criminal Investigation file withheld from defense could have changed the strategy at James Hall’s 1974 murder trial. The file includes a dorm maid’s statement about a mysterious mug shot suspect and links to other campus assaults. Hall seeks a new trial, arguing constitutional rights were violated due to withheld exculpatory material.
