Model offender Fry granted work release in Iowa City
Curtis Fry 24 was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in the Feb 7 2008 death of Patrick McEwen. The Iowa Board of Parole ordered him to work release in Johnson County with later parole and 120 days of community service. He showed remorse and was praised as a model offender for completing prison programs and contributing to a prison band.
