Lincoln arrest ends multi-state murder spree
Suspect Robert E Williams 39 of Lincoln, sought in three states for murder rape kidnapping and robbery, was captured early Thursday in the Burlington Northern yards. A woman in Omaha identified him from a news photo as her longtime assailant, tying him to a 1975 rape. Williams faced prior kidnapping and knife charges in Lincoln and had a brief bond release before the killings began.
