Playhouse memories span generations on Cedar Rapids streets
Ellen Trestnar recalls a hand built playhouse by her father on Mount Vernon Road in 1930. The structure passed through her family to later generations, with siblings and cousins making use of it in Cedar Rapids. Other neighbors like the Duseks also had playhouses built by Larry McDevitt, keeping childhood spaces alive across decades.
