Expendables movie review roars with 80s action pulse
A retro Stallone ensemble tour packs big guns and bold stuntwork as The Expendables features Stallone, Statham, Lundgren, Li, Crews and Couture. The film pits mercenaries against a dictator in a Caribbean-styled regime-change plot with several veteran cameos and heavy led bravado. Reviews note epic shootouts, loud explosions, and uneven story while praising Statham's edge and the star power of the lineup.

Lost alumni Emerson and O Quinn pursue lighthearted TV project
East ern Iowa native Michael Emerson and fellow Lost star Terry O Quinn are shopping ideas for a TV show with a lighter tone. They aim to acknowledge age and frailty, joking about characters taking long recoveries. Both actors are up for supporting actor Emmys, and Emerson notes a leaked final season DVD segment.
