Cedar Rapids City Hall Meets on Rezoning and Utilities
Cedar Rapids city council acted on rezoning petitions across multiple parcels from R-1 to R-4, R-2 to R-T, and other mixed uses, plus second readings on zoning ordinances. They approved site plans, easement changes, and utility projects including Morgan Creek sewer work and a Milwaukee rail signaling upgrade slated for by Sept. 15. Public hearings had no objections, with mayor absent and most actions unanimously approved.
