Iowa Woman Burned To Death In Cave
Mrs. Bert Maxwell, about 65, of Mingo, was burned to death in a cave at her home Monday. Acting Coroner Dr. R. F. Frech said she went to the cave for fruit jars, lit a match for illumination, and fumes from a small gasoline jar ignited, setting her clothing on fire. Her husband found her body on his return from work.

Sioux City Patrolman Is Fired from Force
SIOUX CITY UP A patrolman was fired after his wife was charged with keeping a house of ill fame. William E. Morgan 39 was discharged for neglect of duty and disobedience of orders. His wife Bobbette 35 was arrested as police raided the Palace hotel. Mrs Kathryn Cole 42 Des Moines was charged with prostitution. Three men were ordered to appear before the September grand jury.
