Nightly wake disruptions worsen mood and attention study
Tel Aviv University researchers tracked 58 young adults in eight hour and four hour sleep groups with four to six interruptions. Induced night wakings produced clear declines in mood and sustained attention, similar to four hours of uninterrupted sleep.
