Conny Van Dyke, under Talent Associates, arrives in Cedar Rapids for a drive in appearance at Collins Road Drive-In to promote Hell's Angels 69. The 23 year old says she wants to produce films with less pornography and declined the Lolita role, noting a 19 year Detroit residence and a long career in modeling and TV.

Russ Morgan Dead at 65 Leader of Music in the Morgan Manner

Russ Morgan, a key figure in the big band era and mentor to the Dorsey brothers, died of a cerebral hemorrhage at 65. He led the Russ Morgan orchestra at the Dunes in Las Vegas for five years and wrote hits including Youre Nobody Till Somebody Loves You. Survivors include his wife Shirley and four children. son Jack will take over the group.
