Secret note hidden in 2 millionth Jeep Cherokee
Gene Smith, an auto worker in Toledo, placed a note and The Blade front page inside the cargo cover of the 2 millionth Jeep Cherokee used by President Clinton during a campaign stop. Buyer Bryan Rossiter, a Conoco Ltd. manager in Aberdeen, Scotland, found the message after purchasing the right-hand steering Cherokee in November. Rossiter has since written to Smith.
