Carier injured in two car crash while delivering Gazette route
A Gazette carrier, Mark Riley of 1811 Central Dr SW, was injured in a westbound collision on Walford Road with a northbound pickup on St Patrick's Road near Fairfax. He was airlifted to St Luke's Hospital in fair condition after facial surgery. Witnesses identified no other driver. Other incidents included a Cedar Rapids police chase injuring two officers, a high speed pursuit of Christopher Triplett, and a fatal pedestrian collision near Miles.
