Corps plans six wing dams along Mississippi River at Lansing
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers proposes six wing dams on the main channel of the Mississippi River near the Lansing bridge. A public hearing is set for Thursday August 11 at 7 p.m. in the Kee High School cafeteria. Three dams would be north of the Big Slough entrance on the east side and three below the large sandbar on the opposite shore.
