Bigg Daddy’s expands Cedar Rapids restaurant footprint
The Bigg Daddy’s Dogs and More relocation to a 2,400 square foot brick building at 2201 16th Ave. SW marks a major growth from the former 782 square foot 629 12th Ave. SE site. Owner Ginther celebrates remodeling and a July 6 opening, offering Nathan’s hot dogs, Chicago Vienna varieties, and the Southerner with brisket. He smokes beef brisket long and makes house slaw, chili and baked beans daily. Open seven days, staff rose from four to eleven.
