Newbo evolve festival opens in Cedar Rapids this Friday

Thousands are expected for the three day Newbo evolve festival in downtown Cedar Rapids led by GO Cedar Rapids. Daily attendance could reach 10 000 with many present without tickets or passes. Weather is sunny with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s and no rain. Activities include yoga with Nigerian Dwarf goats at the Cedar Rapids Convention Center and a 1 PM keynote by Amy Newmark of Chicken Soup for the Soul. Maroon 5 headlines Saturday night.
