Ohio man charged with killing five in arson near OSU
Robert Lucky Patterson, 20, linked to thefts and arson, faces aggravated murder and aggravated arson charges over a campus area fire that killed five students and injured others during a birthday party at a three story house near Ohio State University. FDA drops warning label on fat substitute olestra
The FDA lifted the warning that olestra snacks might cause cramps and diarrhea, saying any stomach effects are mild and rare. Olestra was approved in 1996 with label warnings, and the removal will roll out as existing stock is used. Greg Allgood of Procter & Gamble noted the warning will fade from packaging.
