How it would work for passenger prescreening system
The plan requires travelers to provide basic data to airlines which then forward it to a government computer system three days before flight. The system would cross check against commercial databases and government records to judge if a passenger is authentic or poses a threat. Elevated or uncertain risks trigger secondary screening and high risks alert law enforcement, with no use of bank or medical records. Commercial data would be prohibited from retention and data deleted after travel.
