A Cedar Rapids woman suffered a brain bleed and fractured orbital bone after an assault at 514 McKinley St LE. Ronald W. Downs Jr., 54, was arrested at the Cedar Rapids apartment building and charged with willful injury a Class C felony carrying up to 10 years in prison.

Iowa City man faces animal neglect charge after 62 ducks found
