The Iowa House budget committee unanimously approved a bill directing the state conservation commission to build a lake on a 5 000 acre Volga river site in Fayette county using 900 000 left in prior funds. Refund Planned for Iowa Illinois Gas Customers

The Iowa Commerce Commission approves a 3.3 million refund to natural gas customers in Quad Cities Cedar Rapids Iowa City and Ottumwa. The average residential credit is about 10 dollars on May gas bills based on 12 months ending February 1977. Another 5.8 million refund was announced April 15 to Iowa gas and electric customers.
