In Cambridge Massachusetts David Brady 28 of Stoneham was found guilty of first degree murder in the suffocation death of 3 year old Sherry Callahan last June. Judge Thomas Spring initially sentenced him to death but the jury recommended clemency and Brady received life in prison. A police witness said Brady admitted the killing.
Joseph E. McEnany, 19, was charged with malicious injury to a building after allegedly breaking windows and kicking in a door at Ruth Pierce residence 1429 A Avenue NE Friday evening. He appeared at St. Luke's hospital with arm and shoulder lacerations and was admitted for observation.
